Born in 2001, Natalia Rodarte is a multimedia artist based in El Paso, Texas, and Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Arts at The University of Texas at El Paso. Through diverse mediums, including illustration, painting, and metal fabrication, she aims to reveal uncomfortable truths often silenced in her community.
Her work addresses significant political themes alongside deeply personal narratives, reflecting her journey with feminism and her experiences growing up in a traditional Hispanic household. By using materials that resonate with her identity as a border artist, Natalia seeks to foster meaningful dialogue, challenge perceptions, and invite viewers to engage with the complexities of identity and experience.
